I need to export my container, can you help with that?
Exporting a container is far more complex than buying one. We process sales and have the containers to the buyer without having to look around for a good courier service. We make it easy to buy a container and have it delivered to your preferred location. If you’re buying a shipping container to be used for export, you can add a CSC Survey to your purchase (please note, that surveys add 3-5 business days to the normal timeline). We are happy to provide a cargo-worthy (CWO) container, as well as coordinate a CSC survey at the depot.
Do you move loaded containers?
We do not move loaded containers under any circumstance. If you need moving services, we suggest calling companies like PODS. Our Delivery services are for our containers only because we are not a courier company.
I already have a container, can you move it?
We do not move containers we did not sell/rent. If you need an existing container moved, we recommend working with a local heavy haul company or heavy-duty wrecking/towing company.

Are shipping Containers affected by condensation?
Any metal surface which is exposed to temperature variations will inevitably suffer from condensation but there are ways to mitigate this. Evidence shows that the construction of modern containers helps prevent condensation and no doubt the quality of the paint now used also helps. Condensation is more likely to occur when a container is sat on cold, damp ground such as soil; the cold from the earth permeates the container and lowers the temperature of the air inside thus causing condensation. All air has moisture in it therefore reducing the amount of air in the container minimizes the chances of condensation; this can be done by ensuring items are placed in the container on a dry day. A container can also be vented on a dry day to allow air to circulate.
Do shipping containers require maintenance?
Shipping containers are relatively low maintenance. Shipping containers that are used as static storage rarely require any attention, the steelwork is unlikely to deteriorate as long as it is coated in high-quality paint. Door hinges and locking bars require lubricating with oil to keep them free from moving and the door seal will deteriorate over time but again these are easily replaced and should last in the region of 10 years.
How do I get my container delivered?
We can provide delivery for any size box and these will usually be delivered on a hiab vehicle (crane mounted to the vehicle) which will lift the container to the ground. An assessment of the site might be necessary to establish if access to the vehicle is possible. The cost of delivery is available on request.
Delivery
Delivery and Collection of new and used containers is predominantly by hiab lorry fitted with cranes. The lorries can site the shipping container up to 18ft from the side of the lorry. The lorries are not capable of lifting the containers over houses. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure access to the HGV as appropriate access to the site. All deliveries are agreed in advance and you will be supplied with a date and time and be kept informed of any changes to the schedule. Delivery can only be arranged once full payment has been received. If you have concerns regarding delivery we are happy to provide advice and guidance to ensure the container can be installed with minimal disruption.
Prepare a site for your container
Shipping containers require a solid level foundation with approximately 5-foot clearance to allow the doors to be opened. The containers only need support in under the four corners due to their rigid construction from high tensile, rust inhibiting corten steel. Ideal supports include concrete bases, flag stones or railway sleepers.
